Provident Realty Advisors (Provident Data Centers)
Provident Realty Advisors is a Dallas real estate developer founded by Leon Backes, and its data center arm, Provident Data Centers, says it supplies powered land and build-to-suit powered shells for hyperscalers and other large users from a $2.9 billion portfolio across several property types. In Archbald Borough, Archbald I LLC, a Delaware company that shares Provident Data Centers' Dallas address, is behind Project Scott, an 18-building campus that council denied in March 2026 and that's now on appeal, and Project North, a smaller campus on about 66 acres whose application the borough recorded as incomplete. Provident's Harrisburg I, LLC agreed in August 2025 to buy the former Dauphin Highlands golf course in Swatara Township and Steelton for $45.6 million and closed in June 2026, though the final plans now before Swatara Township were filed by US Highlands West Purchaser LLC and PennLive reports Corscale Data Centers is building the campuses.
Provident Data Centers' president signed for Wampum I, LLC when it paid $50 million in March 2026 for the former Pittsburgh International Race Complex in Beaver County, where Switch now plans a campus, and Provident has announced a data center joint venture with Northampton Capital Partners in the Dallas area.
