Prime Data Centers

Prime Data Centers is a privately held developer and owner of large data centers for AI and cloud computing, founded in California in 2017 and now based in Dallas. In Hanover Township, Washington County, it has applied to build about 1.8 million square feet of data centers in seven buildings plus a natural gas power plant at Starpointe Business Park, and the township's conditional use hearings are still open. In May 2026 it also agreed to buy land in Pennsylvania's northern tier from UGI Energy Services for a gas-powered data center campus, and neither company has said where that site is.

Prime says it has 28 data centers on 13 campuses in U.S. and European markets and an expansion pipeline of more than 4 gigawatts.
