Generate Capital

Generate Capital, of San Francisco, says it develops, finances, owns and operates power infrastructure that helps large energy users get power faster, with more than 1.8 gigawatts of power assets and 1.7 gigawatt-hours of battery storage. It's the power plant partner for Prime Data Centers' proposed Starpointe campus in Hanover Township, Washington County, where Dallas-based Prime wants about 1.8 million square feet of data centers and a 350 to 450 megawatt gas plant at Starpointe Business Park. The township supervisors' conditional use hearing had run through five sessions and was still open as of October 22, 2026, and the state Department of Environmental Protection is reviewing an air permit for the power plant.
