Sippel Development Co.
Sippel Development Co., Inc. is a family-owned commercial site development contractor in Zelienople that Doug Sippel founded in 1999 and that says it employs more than 75 people. Marcellus Drilling News names it and TriEnergy of Sewickley as the developers of a proposed 1 million square foot data center on 178 acres of farmland along Route 31 in South Huntingdon Township, Westmoreland County, about a mile from the Tenaska gas plant. TriEnergy filed the township land use permit application, while a state application to fill small streams on the site was filed by Douglas Sippel at the company's Zelienople address, and TribLive reports he's a governor of Stanton Farm LLC, which owns the land.
