AJ Sherwood Capital
AJ Sherwood Capital is a Pittsburgh firm whose president, commercial real estate developer Allen J. Sherwood III, is leading the Misty Hollow Energy and Data Campus in Forward Township, Butler County. The preliminary plan, filed in August 2026 by 614 Prospect Road LLC, which Sherwood manages, calls for a 1 million square foot data center and an on-site natural gas power plant on the former Misty Hollow Farm, with GridSwitch Asset Management as a partner. Sherwood told the Butler Eagle it's his first data center development and that the first phase could run as early as mid-2029, and township supervisors must act on the plan by December 22, 2026 unless the developer grants an extension.
