GridSwitch Asset Management Services is a microgrid and distributed energy asset management company based in Moon Township, near Coraopolis. It's working with Allen J. Sherwood III of AJ Sherwood Capital on the Misty Hollow Energy and Data Campus in Forward Township, Butler County, a proposed 1 million square foot data center with an on-site natural gas power plant on a former dairy farm. The preliminary plan, filed in August 2026, is under township review, and supervisors must act by December 22, 2026 unless the developer grants an extension.
