River Pointe Logistics

River Pointe Logistics is a development company associated with developer Lou Pektor, and the data center campus it's pursuing with Talen Energy would be built on the River Pointe Logistics Center industrial park along River Road in Upper Mount Bethel Township, Northampton County, which received preliminary land development approval in 2022 and 2023. River Pointe and Talen are partners in Slate Belt Holdings LLC, which owns the land and has filed preliminary plans for the Slate Belt Technology Campus, which its developers say would draw up to about 2,100 megawatts at full build-out, along with a challenge to the township's zoning. RPL East LLC, which WFMZ reports is associated with Pektor, filed a second challenge in October 2026 for the 152-acre former Portland Generating Station site across River Road, and a Slate Belt Holdings spokesperson told WFMZ the two sites are part of the same 2-gigawatt proposal.
