Linde Corporation
Linde Corporation is a northeastern Pennsylvania company based in Pittston that lays natural gas pipelines and develops land, and StateImpact reported in 2011 that it had grown to about 300 workers. It owns 682 wooded acres near Browndale in Clinton Township, Wayne County, where it proposed 20 data center buildings and two gas power plants in a campus it valued at $6 billion. Clinton Township supervisors rejected the plans on September 9, 2026, and Linde has gone to court arguing they were approved by default because the township missed its 90-day review deadline.
