KRNL Data Centers
KRNL Data Centers is a New York City company that describes itself as finding and preparing development-ready properties for data center construction and says it's backed by private equity partners Heights Advisors and Legacy Partners, according to Coal Region Canary. It bought a wooded parcel of about 89 acres in New Castle Township, Schuylkill County, on the Frackville border for $600,000, the Shenandoah Sentinel reported. No application has been filed, and in May 2026 the township created a Highway Industrial district along Interstate 81 where data centers need conditional use approval.
