Keel Infrastructure (formerly Bitfarms)

Keel Infrastructure is a New York-based company that develops and owns data centers and the power infrastructure behind them for AI computing, and it says it has a 2.2 gigawatt development pipeline in Pennsylvania, Washington State and Québec. It was the Bitcoin miner Bitfarms until April 1, 2026, when Bitfarms moved its legal home from Canada to Delaware and took the Keel name. In Pennsylvania it's converting its former Bitcoin mine on Clark Street in Sharon, Mercer County, where Mawson Infrastructure once planned a Bitcoin mine, into a 110 megawatt AI data center, and it's planning a data center campus beside its Panther Creek waste coal plant in Nesquehoning, Carbon County, while it studies a larger one at its Scrubgrass plant in Venango County. The Energy Mag reported in October 2026 that Keel is the intended operator of Quantm Group's planned data center at 2401 W. Emaus Ave. in Allentown.

Outside Pennsylvania, Keel says it's building a data center campus at Moses Lake, Washington, and in Québec it has an agreement with Hydro-Sherbrooke for the conditional transfer of 96 megawatts of existing power capacity for a Sherbrooke data center project.
