Blakely data center developers
This group covers the two people who presented themselves as co-developers of a proposed data center campus of about 209 acres behind West Mountain Road in Blakely Borough, Lackawanna County: Jim Marzolino, a local businessman who Data Center Dynamics says is affiliated with PDC Realty, and the landowner, who was the applicant. At an August 2025 information session they described a 586,000-square-foot building footprint, buildings up to 70 feet tall and 1.5 gigawatts of power they said PPL had committed. They withdrew their rezoning request on September 12, 2025 after residents petitioned against it, saying the borough had declined to schedule a second public meeting.
Marzolino is also tied to PDC Realty, the company behind the Project Boson data center plan in neighboring Archbald and the listed owner of the site of a proposed gas power plant there.
