Peron Development
Peron Development is a real estate developer whose spokesman describes it and its partner J.G. Petrucci Co. as local Lehigh Valley developers, and the two companies are behind the proposed Lower Mount Bethel Technology Center in Lower Mount Bethel Township, Northampton County. They first pitched a campus they said would cost more than $5 billion and draw 1.2 gigawatts, then cut it back to land around Depues Ferry Road next to Talen Energy's power plants, where a petition to rezone about 239 acres to industrial was accepted by township supervisors in September 2026. Former Bethlehem Mayor John Callahan, Peron's director of business development, is the project's spokesman, and the developers say there's no end user yet.
