Outrigger Industrial Acquisitions, LLC applied to Mifflin Township, Columbia County, for a conditional use permit for a data center on Aten Road near Interstate 80 and Mifflinville, under data center rules the township adopted on May 11, 2026. The Planning Commission held a hearing on July 7, 2026 and the Board of Supervisors held its hearing on August 10, 2026, and township records posted through October 12 don't show a decision. Township records don't name the company's owners. A national industrial developer called Outrigger Industrial, which Connect CRE reported in December 2024 was headquartered in Chicago with an office in Philadelphia, has a similar name, but we haven't confirmed a link.
