New Fortress Energy

New Fortress Energy is a New York-based, Nasdaq-listed company that owns and operates natural gas and liquefied natural gas infrastructure, including terminals in Puerto Rico and Mexico. KDI Wyalusing Power LLC, which the state Department of Environmental Protection describes as a New Fortress affiliate working through its Klondike Digital Infrastructure unit, holds a state air permit issued October 9, 2025 for eight gas turbines to power a data center on New Fortress's former liquefied natural gas site along Route 6 in Wyalusing Township, Bradford County. Under a debt restructuring that closed September 11, 2026, New Fortress split its Brazil business and its Wyalusing land into a separate company that went to some of its creditors, and no data center operator has been named.

New Fortress's first floating liquefaction unit began producing liquefied natural gas in July 2024, and its long-term customers include Puerto Rico's power authority and Mexico's federal power utility.
