Mele Brothers Realty

Mele Brothers Realty is a Montgomery County real estate company based in Glenside that owns part of the land along Route 903 and Maury Road in Penn Forest Township, Carbon County. Through attorney Matthew McHugh, it has said it plans to build a data center there, and it filed a substantive validity challenge arguing the township's zoning didn't provide for data centers before the township adopted a data center overlay in March 2026. The challenge is still before the Zoning Hearing Board, with a hearing set for November 9, 2026, and no end user has been named.
