LBT Investment Group LLC

LBT Investment Group LLC is a developer that the Times Leader describes as based in Chicago. After Sugarloaf Township, Luzerne County, didn't accept its 2025 curative amendment challenge seeking room for data centers, it appealed to the Luzerne County court and negotiated a settlement ordinance with the township, which supervisors tabled in February 2026 after residents' attorney argued the company wasn't registered to do business in Pennsylvania. The township has since moved to write its own data center rules, the site hasn't been published, and public records we found don't say who owns the company.
