Davidson Kempner Capital Management
Davidson Kempner Capital Management is a global investment firm based in New York, with an office in Philadelphia, that focuses on credit and event-driven investing and says it's wholly owned by its partners. WESA reported in September 2025 that Davidson Kempner owns Allegheny DC Property Co. LLC, now called Dynamo DC, which bought 47 acres of the former Cheswick coal plant site in Springdale Borough, Allegheny County, for $14.3 million. Springdale Borough Council approved that company's data center campus of up to 180 megawatts as a conditional use in December 2025, and Allegheny County planners are now reviewing its land development plan.
