Castleton Commodities International LLC
Castleton Commodities International (CCI) is an energy commodities merchant and infrastructure investor headquartered in Stamford, Connecticut. A CCI subsidiary bought the 169 megawatt Hunlock Creek Energy Center, a gas-fired plant in Hunlock Township, Luzerne County, from UGI Energy Services in November 2024, and the company said then that it was exploring data center development there along with energy storage and more gas-fired capacity. The state Department of Environmental Protection's tracker lists a proposed Castleton data center at Hunlock, but no permit applications had been filed as of October 22, 2026.
CCI said in 2024 that it was exploring generation, battery storage and data center expansion at its power plants in New York, New England and Texas.
