Alpha Compute

Alpha Compute Corp. is a Nasdaq-listed AI computing company domiciled in the British Virgin Islands, with offices in New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Amsterdam and Toronto, and SEC records show it was previously named AlphaTON Capital Corp and, before that, Portage Biotech. In August 2026 its subsidiary Alpha Compute Management, LLC signed a binding term sheet for an option to buy land and Marcellus gas rights in northern Pennsylvania for $55 million, for a planned 200 megawatt data center that would burn gas from new wells on the property and could grow to 1 gigawatt. The company later placed the campus in Tioga County without naming a township, and no county, township or state application had been reported as of October 22, 2026.

The company says its first two computing deployments, in Canada and Sweden, run entirely on hydroelectric power.
