Nichol Avenue McKees Rocks LLC
Nichol Avenue McKees Rocks LLC received a $6 million state PA SITES grant in October 2025 to prepare the 72-acre former Pressed Steel Car Company site on Nichol Avenue in Stowe Township, Allegheny County, as a distribution and logistics park. Pittsburgh's Public Source reports that a company associated with SunCap Property Group of Charlotte bought that site in 2023, and SunCap asked Stowe's commissioners to allow data centers on industrial land, which they approved in December 2025. SunCap has since said no data center has ever been planned for the site, and no application has been filed. The sources we read don't say outright who owns this LLC.
