Enbridge
Enbridge is a Calgary-based energy company whose shares trade on the Toronto and New York stock exchanges, and it runs natural gas, oil and renewable power networks across North America and offshore wind projects in Europe. It owns Texas Eastern Transmission, an interstate gas pipeline that runs from the Gulf Coast through Ohio and Pennsylvania to New Jersey and New York, with a peak capacity of 12.1 billion cubic feet a day. At Senator Dave McCormick's July 2025 summit it pledged $1 billion for natural gas pipeline expansions into Pennsylvania, and the work tied to that pledge so far is upgrades on Texas Eastern; Enbridge hasn't announced a new Pennsylvania route.
In September 2025 Enbridge approved the Eiger Express Pipeline, designed to carry up to 2.5 billion cubic feet of gas a day about 450 miles from the Permian Basin to the Katy area of Texas, and it says it plans to serve data center growth through its gas and renewable power businesses.
