PNK proposal became public 2026; supervisors hired attorney Rick Shoch May 4 2026 to draft an ordinance; hearing moved to June. A Gregg Township public hearing in late July 2026 ran nearly four hours before more than 150 residents, many wearing red in opposition. PNK is seeking a curative amendment and conditional use approval, with a plan to retrofit the existing 478,000 sq ft warehouse into a data center in 2027 and add three buildings by 2029, and says it has moved the substation and chillers to reduce noise and will use closed-loop cooling.
