What the report says about this site
“Located at 1733 PA-92, Harding, PA 18643 (coordinates 41°22'32.3"N 75°47'50.7"W), this former coal plant near Pittson, PA, retired in 1990 and has a retired capacity of 140 MW (see Figure 34 and Table 23). Since retirement, a portion of the site was redeveloped; the remaining land is available and needs to be cleared for redevelopment. The 152-acre site is located north of Pittson along State Highway 92 along the banks of the Susquehanna River. The site has been decommissioned and remediated. It and 365.5 acres of adjacent land are zoned for industrial use and rated as intermediately rugged. The site is classified as a presumptive brownfield; it has been confirmed as having been remediated after soil contamination, while groundwater contamination is TBD. FEMA designates the site as having a very low natural hazard risk but sitting in a floodway. The parcel and nearby parcels are not located within or adjacent to a documented coal mining area and are, therefore, considered to have minimal mine subsidence potential. Rail access, major road access, and river access are all easily accessible from the site. Transmission lines and a substation are accessible from the site. The nearest natural gas pipeline runs ~5 miles away. The nearest broadband installation is ~10.5 miles away. The nearest generator is ~27 miles away. The site sits on the Marcellus shale formation. The nearest wastewater treatment plant is ~2 miles away, and the nearest brownfield is ~3 miles away. There are ~622,373 people within 30 miles of the site.”

Our view on the study
Pennsylvania is studying two Schuylkill power sites. We think residents deserve corrected data, real environmental analysis and a straight answer on costs before the list gets shorter.
